When the Elephant Vanishes

I’m writing this post in a seminar while listening to some fella yapping about the high price of palm oil bla bla bla.

Today is Diyana’s last day at the office. She’s moving to a place with a greener grass and better cafe food. While feeling all happy and excited for her I can’t help to feel sad when she leaves. She is one of my very few friends in my work place that didn’t mind my awkward and sometimes near borderline psycopathic freak. Sure, we can always meet up for a teh tarik or two, but it won’t be the same anymore once we split path. Macam Mos Def cakap dalam ’19 Blocks’, people change. Sooner or later we will run out of topics that we can share and relate to. Eventually, she will become just a facebook friend.

But that’s okay. Bak kata Gayour menyepi bukan tanda melupai. Macam si Den, walaupun dia tak reti2 nak hapdet FB tapi besday Dhea dia mesti wish. Thank you, Den!

New topic.

I’ve ended my almost 2 months sewing hiatus by sewing a pouch fo Diyana’s farewell gift.

These are the I Love Series by Mimi Mashud with cute characters and essentially potrayed what I think of her.

I wish you all the best, and don’t change too much because you are already an awesome friend.
